About Me

Hi, I’m Cora—wife, mama, and a homemaker-in-the-making.

I started Moss Grows Home because I’m learning how to create a home that feels peaceful, purposeful, and full of love. I don’t have it all figured out—not even close. But I believe there’s something sacred in the slow process of homemaking, in fumbling through new routines, learning new skills, and discovering joy in the little things.

This space isn’t about perfect cleaning schedules or Pinterest-worthy spaces. It’s about the real journey—growing into homemaking with a willing heart, a deep love for family, and quiet faith to guide me when I feel unsure (which is often!).

Whether you’re brand new to homemaking, figuring it out as you go, or a seasoned vet looking for a giggle while I figure it out—you’re welcome here.

Let’s grow home, slowly and simply, together. I’m more of a “learn as you go” homemaker than a natural-born one—but I’m here for the journey.

Some fun facts about me:

  • I’m a wife to my best friend and a mama to a little girl who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with giggles and growth.
  • My current goals: fold laundry before it wrinkles, bake something that smells amazing, and keep my house clean for more than a day at a time.
  • I study Marriage and Family Studies because strong families matter deeply to me.
  • I believe in slow mornings, gentle rhythms (though I struggle here), and the power of a quiet prayer.
  • I love warm towels, handwritten lists, and hearing stories from women who’ve walked this path before me.
